KATHMANDU: The newly appointed Nepal Army spokesperson and the Chief of  NA Directorate of Public Relations,  Brigadier General Jhankar Bahadur Kadayat has assumed the office on Friday. Outgoing spokesperson, Major General Tara Bahadur Karki, handed over the responsibility to Kadayat amid a function organised at the Directorate in Kathmandu today. At the function, Karki mentioned about the cooperation he had received from the media sector including media houses, publishers, editors, and defence journalists in particular. Karki further hoped that the newly appointed NA spokesperson Kadayat would also receive the similar support in coming days and wished him for a fruitful term.
