As a mum, clearly you have a lot of responsibilities in your life. You may wake up before everyone else to do a little work on your business and get your kids ready lunches ready for school. Then you stay up later than everyone else finishing your email correspondence and filling orders. All this soon leads to a sleep deprived mum. You may become less effective in your personal and business life. Most people need between seven-and-half to eight hours of sleep each night.
Sleep tips
•Try to go to sleep and get up at the same time each day. Your body will appreciate the routine. This means if you didn’t quite finish that new page for your website and it’s bedtime...go to bed! Your website will be there in the morning
•Keep a regular schedule of work time, personal time, household chore time and family time. Keep to this schedule as much as possible and avoid the late nights as much as possible.
•Reduce your caffeine consumption. Not only does caffeine keep you awake, it make you jittery and on edge worrying about your business through the night.
•Use your last hour before you go to bed to do something relaxing. If you work right up until you go to bed, business might just be on your mind all night.
