KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress decided on Tuesday that disputes on provincial boundaries should be resolved by creating a powerful commission. NC took the decision in its Central Working Committee meeting after concluding that it was almost impossible to forge consensus given the political scenario. The party’s senior leader Ramchandra Paudel told The Himalayan Times that the party decided to take the initiative to forge consensus on forming the commission and passing three other components of the constitution amendment bill before local polls.
