KATHMANDU: The Baburam Bhattarai-led Naya Shakti Party Nepal formed various committees to expedite preparations for the May 14 local level elections. The party's Central Council meeting held for two days (Tuesday and Wednesday) in Kathmandu formed the six panels, according to a statement issued by the party today. The committees formed and their coordinators, according to the statement, are:

1. Central Election Mobilisation Committee: Baburam Bhattarai
2. Central Speakers' Team: Devendra Paudel
3. Political Dialogues Committee: Ram Chandra Jha
4. Manifesto Draft Committee: Keshav Dahal
5. Volunteer Mobilisation Committee: Ganga Shrestha
6. Financial Management Committee: Pasang Sherpa
