KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress on Friday decided to hold seven mass meetings across the nation, one in each province, targeting the local level elections slated for May 14. Top leaders of the party would address all the conferences, according to a decision made by the party's Central Election Mobilisation Committee headed by senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel today. Likewise, the meeting also decided to form poll mobilisation committees at local levels, according to a statement issued by the party's Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel. The meeting has directed all lower level committees of the party to mobilise their leaders and cadres for the local polls with a mission to make the party Number One in the polls. The party's Central Working Committee held earlier this week had formed the Election Mobilisation Committee.
