KATHMANDU: The Local Level Election Manifesto Preparation Committee of the Nepali Congress got the full shape with the induction of 34 members on Saturday. Earlier, the party's Central Working Committee had named CWC member Mahesh Acharya as head of the panel whereas no any member was assigned to his team. Now, the 34 members have been inducted in the Acharya-led committee, the party's Central Office Chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel informed in a statement. Now, the panel has following members:

Meanwhile, the party said all the sitting ministers representing the party in the government would be invited members of the panel. The panel would also consult office bearers and other CWC members as well as chiefs of sister organisations of the party in preparation of the manifesto, the statement added. Central Office Secretary Pradip Parajuli would lead the Manifesto Preparation Committee's secretariat. Meanwhile, the panel's coordinator Acharya called the meeting of the panel for 3 pm on Sunday.
