KATHMANDU: The annual procession of Seto Machhindranath's chariot started from Tindhara Pathshala on Tuesday. The chariot has been pulled up to Asan on the first day of the procession. The towering chariot, made up of wood only, along with the idol of Seto Machhindranath will be taken to Hanumandhoka tomorrow. Both Hindus and Buddhists in the Kathmandu Valley worship the deity, who is revered as the god of rain and good harvest.
