KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Saturday flew to Bangkok for a follow-up check-up. Oli has been visiting the Bumrumgard International Hospital in the Thai Capital every year since the kidney transplantation in 2007 and the visit today is also its continuity, one of the senior members of Oli's Secretariat told THT Online over phone. 'It was necessary for him to undergo the check-up now as he might be very busy in electioneering in the run-up to the local level polls after he comes back home after a week,' he added. 'However, Oli has not suffered any ailment recently,' he claimed. Meanwhile, speaking with journalists before boarding the flight, Oli told media at the Tribhuvan International Airport that his party was for holding the polls in the single phase.
