KATHMANDU: The Bibeksheel Nepali Party on Tuesday demanded that Nepali migrant workers staying in various parts of the nation should also be provided with the voting rights. The party's International Department Vice-Coordinator Ashish Rai handed over a memorandum to Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar yesterday demanding the enfranchisement for around four million Nepalis working abroad. Rai said the party demanded amendments to the concerned laws to ensure the voting rights as the migrant workers had a significant contribution to the economic life of the nation.
