KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested two persons in possession of five kg undeclared silver from Rangeli of Morang district. A team deployed from the Rangeli Area Police Post arrested Umesh BK (21) and Santosh Sah (28), permanent residents of Rangeli Municipality-9, in possession of the white metal from Sansari Maisthan along the Biratnagar-Rangeli road. The duo were riding on a motorbike (Ko 25 Pa 1330) when police intercepted them and searched the bag. The two-wheeler has also been impounded. Further investigation is underway.
