Kathmandu, April 13 Nepal Police Club registered double victories and climbed to the top of the RBB-NVA Club League Volleyball Tournament here at the NSC covered hall today. The departmental side outplayed Dhorpatan Sports Club 25-14, 25-14, 25-11 in their first match and returned to beat Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Centre 25-12, 25-12, 25-18. NPC accumulated 10 points from four matches and are at the top of the table on head-to-head results with departmental rivals Tribhuvan Army Club, who also have 10 points. TAC registered a 25-13, 25-17, 25-13 victory over departmental rivals Nepal APF Club, while unbeaten Help Nepal have nine points from three matches after they beat Western Region 25-23, 25-17, 25-18. In women’s section, Nepal APF Club are at the top of the standing with nine points. The unbeaten team, APF registered a 25-21, 25-15, 25-14 victory over TAC in their third match of the tournament. Likewise, Nepal Diamond Club defeated NPC 25-17, 25-14, 22-25, 25-21 and are at second with six points. NPC and Western Tops, who beat Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Centre 25-10, 25-6, 25-13, have three points each.
