Nepathya releases 'Hami Nepali' with double exposure effects

KATHMANDU: Nepali folk rock band Nepathya on Friday has launched its new song 'Hami Nepali' on its official YouTube channel. 'Hami Nepali', the song calling for unity amongst all Nepalis, is the band's fourth release from their upcoming 10th album. The video has double exposure effect with two images merged together. A silhouette image of the band members performing has been filled with a visual sequence of various images representing Nepal and the country's diversity. The video produced by nepa~laya is made by a young audio-visual team led by filmmaker Shashank Shrestha. The song ‘Hami Nepali’ written by Rabindra Mishra, is an effort to unite Nepalis of all cast, creed and terrain. “Along with folk songs, we will keep on presenting songs related to social issues,” said Nepathya front man Amrit Gurung. “Music is a great medium to unite people and we are doing just that,” he added.
