KATHMANDU: Nepal national football team is set to play an international football friendly match against its arch-rival India in Mumbai on June 6 before hosting Yemen for the home-leg of AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualifiers in Kathmandu. In a statement today, ANFA said All India Football Federation approached ANFA for a friendly match between the two nations as part of a preparation before the second match of the AFC qualifiers. Nepal will play against Yemen on their home soil on June 13 at the APF Halchowk Stadium. Earlier, Nepal had lost to the Philippines  4-1 in Manila, played at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium, on March 28. Nepal head coach Gotoki Koji has called 32 players for close camps before trimming them to 23 players for a match against Yemen at their home turf on June 13. Meanwhile, Robin Shrestha, Kiran Kumar Limbu and Rohit Chand have not attended the training sessions, according to ANFA. Defender Robin Shrestha has been sidelined with a knee injury while goalkeeper Kiran Kumar Limbu and midfielder Rohit Chand are plying their trade abroad. According to FIFA ranking Yemen currently ranks 123 positions to Nepal's 173.
