DAMAULI: The counting of votes in Tanahum, which has got 10 local units, has concluded with the victory of the Nepali Congress in 6 units. The CPN-UML candidates have been elected in 3 local levels and the CPN Maoist Centre in one local body. Byas, Bhanu and Shukla Gandaki municipalities and Anbukhaireni, Rising and Devghat rural municipalities were bagged by the Nepali Congress. Bhimad Municipality and Ghiring and Devghat rural municipalities saw UML candidates' election. The Maoist Centre was victorious in Bandipur Rural Municipality.
