KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a 61-59 victory over the Maldives in their second match of the fifth South Asian Basketball Championship in Male on Saturday. Nepal, who lost their opening match against Bangladesh on Friday, will face Sri Lanka on Monday and play against India on Tuesday. Hosts Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India are competing in the tournament. The winners of the championship will qualify for the FIBA Asia Cup to be held in Lebanon in August.
