UML candidates elected mayor,deputy mayor in Hetauda Sub-Metropolis

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML candidates have clinched the mayor and deputy mayoral posts of Hetaunda Sub-Metropolitan City in Makwanpur district. Hari Bal Mahat has been elected as Mayor of the Hetauda Sub-Metropolis. He received 23, 124 votes while his nearest rival Nepali Congress' Ananda Ram Parajuli garnered 22, 509 votes. Mahat edged Parajuli by 615 vote margin. Similarly, CPN-UML candidate Mina Lama has won the deputy mayor of the Hetauda Sub-Metropolis. She collected 23,437 votes to CPN-Maoist Centre's candidate Balram Bal's 17,011 votes. Meanwhile, UML's Gokarna Parajuli's panel has swept the ward number 11 in the Metropolis. READ ALSO:
