KATHMANDU: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has extended greetings to all Nepali people living at home and abroad while paying heartfelt respect to known and unknown martyrs on the occasion of the 10th Republic Day. President Bhandari underlined the need to institutionalise the democratic republic system not only as part of ‘our governance system’ but also as ‘our life system’. She also hailed the successful conduct of the first phase of local level elections and the ongoing process for holding second phase of the polls which she believed would help strengthen and institutionalise the foundation of democracy in the country.
