POKHARA: A bundle of cash found in the Panthi alley of Pokhara–Lekhnath Metropolitan City–4 on May 24 has been handed over to its rightful owner. Tara Luintel and Gita Adhikari have set an example of moral righteousness by placing the lost money in the owner's hand at a time of increasing incidents of fraud and robbery. After they found Rs 200,000, they immediately informed an electronic media outlet. After the information was disseminated, Hari Ranabhat of Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality–4, who had lost the bundle of cash, arrived at the District Police Office to claim the money. Ranabhat had withdrawn the cash from a bank and after his claim over the money was substantiated by the evidence he produced, Luintel and Adhikari handed over the money under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khadga Bahadur Khatri. Ranabhat, who was beaming with joy to find his money, presented two watches to Luintel and Adhikari.
