Campaigns intensify in Rautahat

RAUTAHAT: Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have intensified election campaigning for the second phase of civic poll slated for June 28 in Rautahat. With  campaigning by the major parties picking pace, election fever has  gripped Rautahat. Locals are excited about casting their ballot. Local  Ramesh Timalsina said that increased election campaigning had created  conducive environment for the polls. Nepali Congress leader Dev Prasad Timilsina at Chandra Municipality said that his party was confident of  winning the polls at the municipality. In Gaur, CPN-UML mayoral  candidate Shambhu Sah and Federal Socialist Forum’s candidate  Gaurishankar Yadav have intensified campaigning.
