Kathmandu, June 8 Minister for Home Affairs Janardan Sharma has directed Nepal Police to seek solutions of various problems from within the organisation adhering to established principles and rules. Inspecting the police headquarters at Naxal today, Home Minister Janardan Sharma said problems inside the police organisation could be easily solved with collective efforts. The chain of command should be bolstered and made systematic, he opined. Further he added that he was ready to bring reforms in areas such as career development, resources, physical infrastructures, and training. As per Sharma, active and empowered human resource, political stability and will power could help to bring peace and prosperity in the country. Nepal Police personnel will be involved in maintaining peace and security, fighting terrorism, investigating crimes and border security, he said. He informed that the government was paying special attention to devise provincial and federal structures of the police organisation. On the occasion, Inspector General of Nepal Police Prakash Aryal stressed that Nepal Police was committed to delivering results as per the direction of the home minister. In course of the inspection, Home Minister Sharma, through a video conference, appreciated the role Nepal Police played in making the first round of local level elections successful.
