Businessman’s whereabouts still unknown

Dang, June 11 The whereabouts of Raj Kumar Shrestha, a well-known businessperson of Tulsipur, Dang, who went missing since last Friday, still remain unknown. The Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Tulsipur, after a meeting today concluded that Shrestha  could have been abducted, and  made a call for his immediate and safe release. Bimal Rijal, chief of the Dang chapter of CCI, also appealed to security personnel to handle the case sensitively for the safety of the entrepreneur. Shrestha, a permanent resident of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, is the owner of Butwal Bastralaya, a clothes shop, in Tulsipur. Rana Bahadur Gharti, a local contractor and a woman were accompanying Shrestha when he went missing. Police surmised that the other two had also been kidnapped. Shrestha’s cousin Raj Kumar said nobody has called the family furnishing any details about the missing man’s whereabouts  or asking for ransom. SP Dhiraj Pratap Singh at the District Police Office in Dang, said that police had intensified their search for the missing businessperson. Further investigation into the incident is under way, the police official said.
