Dang, June 11 CPN-UML Chairperson and former prime minister KP Sharma Oli today said that the ruling forces were shocked with the election result of the first phase of the local level civic polls. Speaking at an election publicity gathering in Tulsipur of Dang today, Oli argued that the ruling forces were spreading baseless propaganda that the CPN-UML was getting weaker in the Madhes region. “The election result of the second phase of local level election scheduled to be held on June 28 will also shock them,” claimed Oli. He claimed that his party won the elections in more than 45 per cent of the places. “If you are looking for people who contribute to nation building, cast your votes for the CPN-UML because people who build the nation are in the party,” he argued. Oli claimed that his party had compelled the Parliament to revoke the constitution amendment bill and impeachment motion filed against outgoing Chief Justice Sushila Karki. Meanwhile, UML Chair Oli directed all its party activists to unite for the upcoming second phase of local level elections.
