KATHMANDU: A 72-year-old woman died on the spot after a bus crushed her in Chandragiri Municipality-5 of Kathmandu this morning. The deceased has been identified as a local resident Tulasimaya Shrestha. The accident took place when the bus (Lu 1 Kha 6466) heading towards Sunauli from Kathmandu run over her in front of the Gurjudhara-based Office of the Nepal Telecom today, said police. Meanwhile, police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle for necessary action.
