MYAGDI: A woman has allegedly killed her 74-year-old husband, following an altercation in Malika Rural Municipality of the district on Wednesday evening. Accused Tara Devi Gharti had hit Khadka Bahadur with a shovel in a fit of rage, killing him instantaneously, said the Myagdi District Police Office. The incident took place on Wednesday evening. A team deployed from the Area Police Office in Darbang said that the 62-year-old Gharti apparently hit Bahadur twice on the head. The woman has been brought to the District Police Office for further action, said Inspector Diwakar Ghimire.
