BHOJPUR: Nepali Congress candidate Birbal Rai has been elected the mayor of the Sadananda Municipality in Bhojpur district. Rai garnered 4,986 votes against 4,694 votes of his contender Surendra Udas of CPN-UML. Likewise, UML's Merika Rai has won the deputy mayoral race receiving total 4,697 votes against 4,413 votes mustered by her rival Sita Shrestha of NC. The counting of votes has been concluded in Bhojpur district with the the completion of counting in the Sadananda Municipality. READ ALSO:
