KATHMANDU: The private airline companies have decided to reduce the airfare for domestic flights, following decrease in the price of air turbine fuel. Ghanshyam Acharya, spokesperson at the Airline Operators Association of Nepal, was quoted in the Rastriya Samachar Samiti as saying, private airline operators decided to make some adjustments in the fare as per the decision made by the Nepal Oil Corporation to slash the Aviation Turbine Fuel price from Rs 86 per liter to Rs 84 per liter few days ago. The revised rate would come into effect from July 5.
