GAUSHALA: A person died and another sustained critical injuries after a motorcycle they were riding on was rammed from behind by a tipper along the Jaleshwar-Bardibas road section in Mahottari district on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as Bhuvan BK (26) and injured as his father Jamu BK of Bijalpura in Bardibas Municpality -12 in the district. The incident occurred when the motorcycle (Ba 10 Pa 6714) heading towards Bardibas was rear-ended by the tipper (Na 7 Kha 2293) in Aurahi Rural Municipality-2 injuring BK duo yesterday, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Raj Kumar Lamsal at the DPO. SP Lamsal said that Jamu BK (65) was riding pillion at the time of the incident. The deceased was rushed to the Kavre-based Shir Memorial Hospital where he breathed his last during the course of treatment. His father is being treated at the Lalitpur-based B & B Hospital. Meanwhile, Bardibas-based Area Police Office has impounded the tipper and arrested its driver for further investigation.
