KANCHANPUR: Property worth over Rs 1.8 million was destroyed in a fire at Jhalari, Shuklaphanta Municipality-10 based Aayush Clinic and Subas Pharmacy last night. The fire destroyed medicines, furniture, television set, refrigerator and other lab equipments. The fire was doused by a joint effort of locals, police, and fire engines, said Area Police Office Tek Bahadur Jora. The reason behind the fire is yet to come out. However, the medical owner Pushpa Raj Panta has blamed an unidentified group deliberately setting the clinic on fire from the ventilation of the room.
