BAITADI: The Satbanjh-Gokuleshwar section of the Mahakali Highway has been obstructed after a landslide occurred in Bangabagar of Dilasaini Rural Municipality-6 in the district on Saturday. Vehicular movement along the road has been interrupted due to the incessant rainfall-triggered landslide that occurred at around 5:00 am today, according to the Baitadi District Police Office. A bulldozer has been operated for removing the landslide debris and the road would likely be opened till this afternoon, says Deputy Superintendent of Police Heramba Sharma. Meanwhile, passengers and commuters travelling by vehicles to and from Baitadi are stranded in the blockage.
