20 injured in microbus collision in Dhading

KATHMANDU: At least 20 persons have been injured, three critically, when two micro buses collided head-on at Gajuri Rural Municipality-2 in Dhading district on Tuesday afternoon. The micro bus (Ba 3 Kha 38) that was heading towards Chitwan from Kathmandu collided head-on with another microbus (Ba 1 Ja 5870) coming from the opposite direction at 3:00 am today. Among the injured, 17 of them are undergoing primary treatment at the Gajuri Hospital, according to Gajuri Area Police Office. Those three injured have been sent to Kathmandu-based Trauma Centre for further treatment, added the Gajuri APO. Both the vehicle lost their control and failed to apply brakes due to overspeeding, informed police.
