Damauli, July 25 Two bodies, which were lying in the deep Seti River gorge, were finally retrieved today after many attempts to extract them failed yesterday. The bodies were retrieved at Shuklagandaki Municipality, in Tanahun. A joint team of Armed Police Force deployed from Disaster Management Kurintar Battalion and Area Police Office Belchautara retrieved the bodies after four hours of relentless endeavours, according to Inspector Rajendra Adhikari. The bodies have been identified as Dhani Nepali, 19, of Bangalachuli Rural Municipality and Sunil Pariyar, 22, of Lamahi Municipality, Dang. The kin of the deceased reached the site and received the bodies. Both the bodies have been sent to Gandaki Hospital for post-mortem, said police. Of the three persons who were swept away by the Seti River a few days ago from Kaski, one body was recovered earlier at Jhaputar of Rishing Rural Municipality while the kin of the two missing were searching for the bodies.
