Head constable slapped life imprisonment for murdering woman in Jajarkot

JAJARKOT: The Jajarkot District Court on Sunday sentenced a police personnel to life imprisonment for murdering a woman. Head Constable Kamal BK was sentenced to life imprisonment  for murdering Radhika Sunar of Bheri Municipality-4 in the district. A single bench led by district's justice Lila Raj Adhikari handed over the verdict. Head constable Sunar was cleared on a charge of rape but convicted of murder. Head Constable Kamal BK fatally attacked Radhika Sunar (28) with a khukuri and threw the body into a local river, Pasagaad, on February 4, 2017.
