BIRATNAGAR: As many as seven persons have drowned in various places in Sunsari today, police said. The deceased have been identified as eight-year-old Rupsani and her three-year-old brother Rupesh, children of Maya Rai from Bhojpur, who is currently staying in Itahari. Other deceased include Ishwor Sunwar (40), Mala Saha (30) and her 10-year-old daughter Siti, a permanent residents of Itahari. The bodies of remaining two are yet to be identified, police said. According to Biratnagar-based Eastern Regional Police Office, bodies of the deceased were retrieved from various places.
