Endangered species of python found in Kanchapur

KANCHANPUR: An endangered species of python has been found in Musapani of Bedkot Municipality-6 of Kanchanpur district. The python weighing 8.5 kilograms and 10 feet in length was found in a field belonging to the local Laptan Chaudhary on Tuesday. The Locals had informed the District Forest office after spotting the non-venomous snake in the field. The python was rescued and handed over to the Shuklaphanta National Park, according to the Chief of the District Forest Office Kanchanpur, Shiva Sharma.
