Power supply resumes after two weeks in Gulmi

GULMI: The power supply that had been disrupted after a landslide for the past two weeks in Bamitaksar of Musikot Municipality in Gulmi district has resumed since this morning. The power supply was disrupted after the landslide swept away the canal of 125 KW hydropower project. More than 800 households in the area were compelled to grope in darkness due to the power cut. A local Paropakar Multipurpose Cooperatives in the Municipality had brought the hydropower project into operation. The GSM, CDMA and ADSL services of the Nepal Telecom were brought to halt by the disruption of power supply.
