KATHMANDU: Dr Govinda KC on Sunday issued an ultimatum to the government to fulfil his three-point demand. The doctor has warned of launching a fresh fast-unto death if the government doesn’t immediately revoke affiliation granted by Tribhuvan University Executive Committee to Kathmandu National Medical College, Ghatttekulo, by September 6. Dr KC has urged the government to give the Institute of Medicine authority to set fee structures of medical colleges. He has also demanded passage of the Medical Education Bill incorporating the recommendations made by the Kedar Bhakta Mathema-led panel.
