KATHMANDU: Pushpa  Sadan and CCRC advanced to the boys’ category semi-finals of the Xavier  Cup U-19 Inter-college Basketball Tournament here on Monday. In the  quarter-final match, Pushpa Sadan outplayed Golden Gate 57-51 riding on  Suraj Khadgi’s 16 points. Golden Gate’s Jackson Sunuwar was the top scorer of the match with 28 points but that was not enough to avert the defeat. In another match, CCRC thrashed hosts Xavier ‘B’ 60-29. Prasanna  Maskey and Manish KC contributed 15 points each for CCRC. Pushpa Sadan  will take on Prime in the semi-final match, while CCRC will play the winners  of the quarter-final match between Xavier ‘A’ and Angels’ Heart.
