Japanese national donates equipment to Palpa eye centre

RAMNAGAR: A Japanese citizen donated a modern medical equipment to the Rampur-based Kaligandaki Eye Treatment Centre (KETC), in Rampur Municipality of Palpa district on Tuesday.
The centre received a modern Portable steel lamp used for eye examination worth around Rs 300,000 from Dr Ibata Rikabata, according to KETC President Hutaraj Pokharel.
Japanese social worker Kajumasa Kakimi handed over the equipment to the KETC president yesterday.
The equipment will be helpful in running eye camps in various locations, informed the KETC incharge Sundar Rana.
