Municipality imposes ban on children of specified representatives from attending private schools

BAJURA: The children of governmental, non-governmental employees and local body representatives have been barred from studying in private boarding schools in Badimalika Municipality in Bajura district. A meeting of the officials of the Municipality took the decision to impose ban on allowing the children governmental, non-governmental offices employees including the elected representatives from studying in private schools in order to improve the educational situation within the town, shared Deputy Mayor of Badimalika Kabita Budha. According to the Deputy Mayor, the decision was taken, to bring uniformity in the education. She added that the decision was taken in favour of the residents of the town after receiving various suggestions and advices from sub committees who were present at the working committee.
