KATHMANDU: Ncell has launched new data packs that enable customers to enjoy internet at more affordable rates. Under the scheme, customers subscribing to any data pack will get extra same volume of 4G data as bonus, and can enjoy internet service at as low as two paisa per MB including taxes. New data packs are available in ‘all-time’ and ‘night-time’ use formats and offer data volume ranging from 30MB to 10,000MB at lowered prices of Rs 10 to Rs 1,500 with validity of one day to 30 days. Customers can subscribe to any of these data plans as per their requirement. The special feature of this scheme is that customers subscribing to any data pack also get same volume of extra 4G data as bonus. For example, if a customer subscribes 500MB all-time pack, which costs Rs 100, they will get additional 500MB 4G data as bonus. 4G data received as bonus can be used only in 4G network, while the main data can be used in any of the 2G, 3G or 4G networks. All-time new data pack costs Rs 10 for 30MB all network data and customers taking this pack also get additional 30MB 4G data as bonus (thus enjoying 60MB data at just Rs 10). Likewise, other all-time data packs cost Rs 30 for 100MB, Rs 50 for 200MB and Rs 70 for 250MB, subscribing to which customers will enjoy equivalent volume of 4G data as bonus. Furthermore, larger all-time data packs cost Rs 100 for 500MB, Rs 300 for 1,250MB, Rs 500 for 2,500MB and Rs 1,500 for 10,000MB, and customers taking any of these packs will also receive equivalent volume of 4G data. Customers taking night-time packs will get four times more data volume to what they get in the all-time packs at the same price. The scheme will come into effect from Wednesday (September 6) for 90 days and 4G data bonus will be applicable for 30 days.
