KATHMANDU: Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhi Prasad Yadav said counting of votes for the first and second phases of provincial and parliamentary polls would begin only after December 7. “We’ll keep ballot boxes under adequate security and start counting votes after the second phase of elections are over,” said CEC Yadav. The government has decided to hold both provincial and parliamentary polls simultaneously, but in two phases — on November 26 and December 7. The first phase of elections will be held in 32 mountainous and remote hilly districts and the second phase will be held in 45 hilly and Tarai districts. READ ALSO:
