KATHMANDU: Celebrating completion of 17 years of operation, Machhapuchchhre Bank Ltd (MBL) has introduced ‘Machhapuchchhre Mahotsav’, under which the bank’s customers can avail free debit card and discounts on service charge, locker facility, Machhapuchchhre Mobile Money and credit card along with various surprise gifts. The scheme will be valid till mid-October, as per a media release. Machhapuchchhre Bank was registered in 1998 as the first regional commercial bank from the western region of Nepal and started its banking operations from Pokhara in 2000. The bank is currently serving 500,000 customers in the country through 62 branch offices, four extension counters, four branchless banking services and 81 ATMs.
