HETAUDA:  Nepal APF Club recorded victory in the National Men’s Volleyball Tournament here at Bastipur on Friday. APF thrashed Makwanpur 25-15,  25-18, 25-12 in the opening match of the tournament being organised jointly by  Keshab Lal Shrestha Memorial Foundation and Youth and Sports  Coordination Committee. Meanwhile, the  match between Nepal Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club was postponed due to adverse weather condition. Three departmental teams along  with Eastern, Western, Far-west, Makwanpur, Sipapokhare Youth Network  Sindhupalchok are competing in the tournament. The winners and  runners-up will get Rs 200,000 and Rs 100,000, while the finishing third and fourth will receive Rs 40,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively. The best player will earn Rs 15,000, whereas the best blocker,  lifter, spiker, defender and libero will get Rs 5,000 each.
