KATHMANDU: A person died after a motorcycle she was riding on, was struck by a bus in Banasthali of KMC-16 on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Pramila Balami (25) of Bohoratar in KMC-16. The incident occurred after the bus(Na 5 Kha 6626) struck the motorcycle (Ba 72 Pa 7866) at Banasthali yesterday, injuring Balami, according to police. Balami was rushed to Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for treatment but she breathed her last on the way, informed police. Meanwhile, police have impounded the vehicle and detained the driver for further investigation.
