CHITWAN: CPN Maoist Centre Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday said his party would emerge victorious in the upcoming provincial and parliamentary elections. At a press meet organised by Press Centre, Chitwan, Dahal said his party was strong enough to contest the upcoming elections without forging alliances. He said his party on its own has been trying to contest the election in Constituency 3 of Chitwan. The recent local level election results show the CPN Maoist Centre is the third force in Constituency 3. He informed his party has also been considering alliances. “The discussion for alliances with CPN-UML and Nepali Congress is under way,’ he added. Dahal also attended two other programmes organised in Bharatpur the same day.
