Flying abroad before Cabinet approval

KATHMANDU: Defence Secretary Shreedhar Sapkota flew to Japan even before the Cabinet approved his visit on Monday. Sapkota went to Japan to inspect wheel loader and track dozer at Komastu Ltd Japan that Nepal wanted to buy for the Kathmandu-Madhes expressway. According to a defence ministry source, Sapkota is being accompanied by army officers Bharat Bahadur Khadka, Sharad Lal Shrestha, Suresh Gurung and Bikash Pokharel. The supply company will bear the bureaucrats’ cost of accommodation, food and airfare. READ ALSO:
