New BoD at Kumari
KATHMANDU: The fifth AGM of Kumari Bank Ltd has unanimously elected the existing promoter directors for the second term also. Noor Pratap Rana, Amir PJB Rana, Santo Shrestha and Sabitri Gurung and Shivaratan Sharada have been elected from promoter shareholders. Noor Pratap Rana is unanimously elected as the chairman of Board. — HNS

Australian Air’s fares
KATHMANDU: Australian Airlines is offering special round trip fares of $770 for Europe and $1,200 for New York, Washington DC and Toronto, Montreal. The special fares is to be valid from February 1 to 28 and travel period is valid till March. — HNS
EBL posts profit
KATHMANDU: Everest Bank Ltd (EBL) has posted Rs 217.27 million operating profit. It has also registered a growth of 16.2 per cent in comparison to the previous year. The bank’s credit has recorded a growth of 34 per cent to Rs 961.8 million. — HNS
STC honey in market
KATHMANDU: Salt Trading Corporation has launched ‘STC Honey’ in the domestic market. STC would sell the product through its network spread across the country and is also looking forward to exporting it. — HNS
