Nepathya releases music video of Tulsi Diwas's Samjhi Rakha

KATHMANDU: Nepal's popular folk rock band, Nepathya, on Sunday, released a video of Tulsi Diwas's Samjhi Rakha, to be a part of the band's 10th album. Issuing a press statement today, Nepa-laya, which manages the band said, this old poem has now been made into a music video and comes as a gift to listeners from Nepathya on the occasion of their 25th year celebration. 'I wrote this poem during my childhood, but it got printed later while my collection of poetry was published,' Poet Tulsi Diwas said. Nepathya's frontman Amrit Gurung says 'I came across Poet Diwa's collection of poetry, while i was looking for lyrics. I have tried to provide music to one of the poem in the book',. The music video traverses through Lalitpur's narrow alleys, temples and palaces. In the video, Nepalthya band members are seen walking the streets of Patan through a tranquil night. The video was made by Kathaharu and produced by Nepa-laya. Earlier, the band had already released music video of 'Koshi ko Pani', Ho Rama Rama,' Sirfula' and Hami Nepali on Nepathya's official YouTube channel.
