BAGLUNG: A bomb exploded at the house of Minister of State for Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Champa Devi Khadka in Baglung Municipality-2  of Baglung district on Monday night. No human casualties have been reported in the explosion that occurred at 11:00 pm last night. The Minister of State Khadka, also the candidate for the election to the House of Representatives from Baglung district constituency-1, was inside the house when the bomb exploded partly damaging a section of the compound wall surrounding the house. Police have started investigation into the case, said Chief of the District Police Office, Superintendent Chandra Kuber Khapung. Police are yet to ascertain the culprits involved in the incident.. 'This incident seem to be done to disrupt the election environment', SP Khapun said adding, ' Appropriate action will be taken against those responsible'. The local residents were terrorised following the sudden loud blast at night. Meanwhile, police have cordoned off the incident site.
