Lalitpur, November 21 Seti Devi Sarda School of Sindhupalchowk, Shree Shankar Saraswoti School of Kailali, Shree Durga Secondary School of Rautahat and Bhumre Secondary School of Syangja advanced to the women’s section semi-finals of the Coca-Cola Cup Inter-school Football Tournament here today. In the day’s matches, Durga Secondary, Shree Aadarsha and Amar English School won their respective matches. Durga thrashed Bright Future 7-0 riding on five goals from Rashmi Kumari Ghising. Durga went ahead through an early goal from Ghising in the 10th minute before Nikita Thokar doubled the lead in the 18th minute. Sabita Rana Magar then made it 3-0 moments before the first half whistle. Ghising then added four goals in the space of nine minutes in second half. She netted her second goal of the match in the 60th minute and went on to score in the 66th, 68th and 69th minutes to complete the rout. Also, Shree Aadarsha hammered Chhahari Shikshya Sadan 6-0. Karuna Rai opened the scoring in the 11th minute, while Suja Magar Rai scored in the 35th and 37th minutes to make it 3-0. Sushma Magar netted team’s fourth goal in the 39th minute before Jeena Bista and Manisha Bista completed the rout with goals in the 56th and 66th minutes respectively. In another match, Amar Singh came from behind to defeat Nepalaya English School 3-1. Amisha Karki put Nepalaya ahead in the 10th minute before Renuka Tamang levelled the scores five minutes later. After the break, Asikriti Adhikari provided Amar the lead in the 59th minute, while Rashmi Shrestha sealed the victory in the injury time of the match.
